Preschool

In Preschool (Nursery to Pre-First) our students experience great satisfaction when involved in activities that are relevant to their age and ability, encouraging them face positive challenges and strengthen their self-esteem through success.

Investigation; adapting and combining diverse techniques and methods to be at the vanguard of how we teach children. This section adopts an academic model based on an introduction to English in Nursery. From Pre-Kinder through Pre-First, children participate in an English immersion program, through which they develop cognitive, social, human and technological abilities. Simultaneously, at Kinder 2 and Pre-First levels, they follow a reading and writing program in Spanish.

Admissions Process

It is a pleasure having you join our ITJ Community, and we appreciate the interest in your child’s education and welfare. The following are the steps designed to guide you through the Admissions Process:

  • Send the following documentation (PDF or JPG format) to informes@itjvallereal.edu.mx:
    informes@itjvallereal.edu.mx:
    • Copy of the birth certificate of the child to be evaluated
    • Copy of the child´s CURP. (for foreign students it will be processed upon arrival in Mexico)
    • Copy of last report card (if applying for K1 – Grade 12)
    • Copy of IFE/INE or passport of both parents.
    • Recent proof of address (no older than 3 months).
    • Two personal and work recommendation letters.
    • Complete the school’s admissions forms.
  • Pay the evaluation fee of $850 Pesos, directly to the Cashier at the school.
  • Once you have submitted proof of payment and the required documentation, you will be contacted with information regarding your child’s evaluation date.
  • On evaluation day, parents will be asked to fill out additional forms that complement the required information; for this reason, it is essential that at least one parent be present at this time.
  • Ten business days after the evaluation, the school will contact you to deliver your response letter, and indicate the subsequent process to follow.

Elementary

The structure of Elementary School (1st through 5th) is oriented toward investigation; this provides clear objectives for our students through quality academic programs aligned with the Common Core and AERO standards, which are among the highest world-wide. The ITJ program’s objective is designed to teach children in English while also meeting all requirements established by SEP.

The role of a classroom teacher at ITJ is that of a facilitator; guiding students to become part of the teaching and learning process. This provides children with the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences while developing the multiple abilities that will lead them to future success.

Secundaria

The Middle School (6th through 8th) structure provides preteen and teenage students with a balance of limits and liberties that creates a safe environment where they can grow academically and emotionally.

Through this academic model the attention is focused on the student using a constructivist structure complemented with a design based on learning through projects and/or concrete activities.

Why Middle School in ITJ?

  • Middle School Structure (6th are already Middle School students), where they receive a subject to prepare them for High School.

Preparatoria

High School students (9th through 12th) will encounter experiences that will help them become responsible for their actions, and understand themselves as a vital and much-needed part of a local and global community. They will take initiatives to achieve their personal goals through an intentional and significant learning system. During this phase, students will have special guidance regarding required tests and processes for admission into universities of their choice.

Students receive support throughout their decisions-making processes as well as constant counseling and orientation designed to aid them in their selection of the leading options for an optimum development of their abilities through professional studies anywhere in the world.

Through business experiences, practical activities and responding to the philosophy of the "Life Laboratory", it is possible for the student to get closer to a better knowledge according to his area of interest, taking into account the development he will have in the future.
