On April 28, the 2nd Thomas Race was held, a sporting event where the ITJ family came together to lead the way.
The streets of Ciudad Satélite witnessed all the emotions that were experienced that morning, joy, excitement and many smiles of the participants as they were able to live together as a community enjoying the big family, reflecting the values and spirit that characterizes the Thomas Jefferson Campus Santa Monica.
Around 550 students, alumni, family and friends participated, showing a bond and uniting different generations of our community; The route consisted of 5 and 3 kilometers, where each participant did them running or walking while the teachers and collaborators motivated everyone to achieve their goal, cross the finish line and strengthen ties by promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
Secondary and High School students enlivened the event with music during the race, making all participants vibrate with positive energy at all times.
In the 2nd Thomas Race, several sponsors played a crucial role in promoting and making the event possible highlighting their commitment to the sport and the community. Among them, Rasten, Matter, Rematch and El Dorado Park who were sponsors of the medals for all the runners and prizes awarded to the winners.
Banana Boat, known for its sun protection products, ensured that participants were well protected from the sun for their next vacation with a fun and special activation for race attendees while Photobomb was responsible for capturing every special moment of the event, ensuring that all the memories were immortalized with 360º videos.
