“Back to Amazing Learning”: Building an Amazing Educational Future at Thomas Jefferson Institute Santa Monica

As a way to welcome the new school year, we held the “Back To Amazing Learning” event, a celebration of the innovative education and collaboration that left a deep impression on the entire school community. This event not only marked a special occasion to explore the working methodologies of each academy, but also became a valuable forum to share experiences between parents, and promote a community based on collaboration.

As strategic points that we cover in this experience we have:

1. Work Methodology in the Academies: “Back To Amazing Learning” provided the unique opportunity to publicize the specific work methodologies of each of the academies within theThomas Institute Jefferson Santa MonicaFrom project-centered pedagogical approaches to methodologies based on critical thinking and creativity, educators presented their approaches and shared concrete examples of how these methodologies are implemented in the classroom. Parents had the opportunity to better understand how their children are being prepared for the future through these innovative teaching strategies.

2. Sharing Experiences between Parents: One of the highlights of this event was the ability for parents to share their experiences and perspectives. Parents were able to share their concerns, successes and challenges related to their children's education. This exchange of ideas promoted greater understanding and also allowed the school to gain valuable feedback from the community.

3. Create Community Based on Collaboration:“Back To Amazing Learning” was not only about learning about education, but also about building a strong community based on collaboration. Activities were organized that encouraged interaction between parents, students and teachers, creating an environment of support and teamwork. The idea was that collaboration is not only important in the classroom, but also in everyday life and in building a stronger, more cohesive community.
