We are proud to share our success at Robomatrix Jr. West 2025
Instituto Thomas Jefferson Campus Palomar took home several awards during its outstanding participation in Robomatrix Jr. Occidente 2025, a competition organized by the Latin American Robotics League.
This event was animed for students from Preschool through High School, with the goal of foresting interest in science and technology in Jalisco. It took place in June at the “Centro Educacional Tlaquepaque 2”, where ITJ Palomar students competed with their projects across various categories: Beebot Preschool, Beebot Elementary, Vybrabott, Brazzbott, Inzectobott, Car Race Educare, Car Race Open, LEGO Sumo, Mini Sumo, RC Sumo, Robosoccer Open, Line Follower (non-turbine), and Maze (evader).
Their amazing participation was possible thanks to the guidance of their Technology teachers, who supported the students in developing innovative robotics projects using materials such as LEGO and designing solutions with various functionalities. Throughout the process, students strengthened teamwork, technical skills, and programming abilities, tackling challenges creatively and applying different coding techniques and languages to solve them effectively.
In addition of having an incredible and enriching experience, ITJ Palomar students won in the following categories:
